You may have already known about WhatsApp’s latest update on deleting sent messages. Well with this option, WhatsApp made millions of its users happy. However, you can only delete a sent message within 7 minutes after sending. 7 minutes is long enough to realize the mistake revoke the message. You might be wondering that why I am telling you about this feature as the title is completely the opposite. Well, my friends, it’s related. If you are a sender and you delete the message, you are happy but it will be just the opposite if someone deletes the message after sending you especially if you didn’t read it. As you are expecting, here in this article, I will explain how you can read the deleted WhatsApp message.

Before proceeding with the steps, make sure that the data/wi-fi connection is on your phone, and you have at least Android 4.4 and above on your phone. Otherwise, it won’t work. Apart from this, remember that you will be able to retrieve some deleted messages from now on and you can’t see the previously deleted messages.

Follow the below steps

  1. Go to play store and install the Notification History application from there as shown below.
  2. After installation completes, open the app and give all permission it requires.
  3. From now on it will capture all the notification data on your phone.

Whenever someone deletes a message after sending it on Whatsapp

  1. Open the Notification History app and tap on WhatsApp to see all the notification generated by WhatsApp.
  2. Look at the particular name or contact number and tap on it, it will showing you the notification.

Remember that you cannot access the deleted message on WhatsApp itself, you need to rely on a third party app like this for it. Notification History can only store up to 100 characters and will clear all the messages when you restart the phone.

Notification History depends upon the notification of the Operating System (Android), if the app didn’t generate a notification, you may not be able to get it.
